Subject: Canadian common law visa, PLEASE HELP!
  HI!
I am a Canadian citizen living in the UK with my boyfriend of almost 4 years. He is a british citizen. We are in the process of getting everything together for the application for a common law visa and have run into a bump. He was convicted of a DUI in 2007. Will this affect the application process? If so can we get it pardoned? or anything else we can do? Please help as we will do anything to be in Canada. Thanks :)

He is inadmissiable at this point.

There a few steps he has to tak before attempting to apply or visit Canada.

It appears that your common law partner will be eligible to apply for rehabilitation in 2012.
