| Subject: Is high school background checked during visa prcs |
Hi, Im currently being sponsored under the family class for permanent residence. The high school i attended, no longer exists. Do visa officers contact the schools we went to to check for records or anything like it? Im worried since my high school doesnt exist anymore.

That is OK.
Please provide all records from that school though.
Did you attend any institute after high school - I mean if so then that means the school must have been there. The higher level institute must have verified your school education.

I would imagine you were not more than 18 years of age when you were attendng high school. In that case probably (check from cic.gc.ca) you need not submit those details.
