Each Barrister & Solicitor is known to be good at one specific area such as investor/entrepreneur category.

Look for someone who has years of experience in your choice of moving to Canada.

I used to think that a fancy giddy office in downtown with professional business attitude would speak for itself, a hefty bloody legal fee in exchange for speedy and guaranteed outcome.

No, it was not so. My advice to you is that go for one that most fits you in terms of service and money.

The best option is to look for an immigration consultant, just make sure they are CSIC certified, not just a fly by night operation.
An immigration consultant can advise you on the best way to apply according to your specific profile.
You can lose time and money if you donīt ask people that donīt have proper knowledge. If you hire a lawyer, make sure he is a specialist in immigration matters.
Good luck!!!!

an agent for migration - help (in reply to: agent for migration to Canada)
CSIC certified: David Cohen, the law firm Campbell is not on that list. But I am confused, because some pepole in forms mentioned him to have arranged visa and he/they should even publish a monthly review about migration.

Besides that, I rather immigrate in province of Ontario and it would be better to get an attorney of thise province. From SCIC I could not get information about good/bad expierence. I have specific situation, so I need attorney for sure. Can you help me with information?
Thank you for mailed information.

You got great advice and with out you pouring out your "I have specific situation" for everyone to see no one can tell you whom to retain.

Try this google their name and see how much positive stuff or negative stuff is on the internet about them.

Remember if you hire a large firm with a big name the head of the firm will never be the one doing the work. It will be passed to a brand new member but more likely just an employee who is so young that all they can think about is how long to party time.
