CIC Vegreville received my application on November 12, 2011 for work permit renewal. I check the status everyday over the phone and it says that application is under process. anyone knows that how long it takes for renewal now a days? I have applied H & C & PRRA.

We we told that they are back logged and it can take up to 4 months to receive your nenewed work permit. As long as you are working for the same employer as before, you can show them your receipt that you have paid and applied for your renewal of the work permit and it should be enough for you to continue to work until the actual work permit is received.
