Subject: FSW quota drastically CUT |
It appears that the FSW quota is cut by 20% or more. Is this going to send Canada into dark ages? I mean without skilled worker importation, what will happen to the quality skills? I hope they realize this and quickly bring that quota back to normal. Anybody affected by this new policy?

(in reply to: FSW quota drastically CUT) where are you getting this information? dark ages? we have a 7+% unemployment rate so would it not make sense to employ the people already here before we allow more to come? What is the point of immigrating if you can´t find a job?
and what exactly is ´normal´?

(in reply to: FSW quota drastically CUT) Canada is likely to suffer rapid decline without cheap and affordable technical manpower, which abundantly supplied by the immigrants.

(in reply to: FSW quota drastically CUT) what is the point of robust quotas when we have 2/5 year residency laws?
I suggest we up the residency requirements long before we increase the number of immigrants. That way the people that are applying might actually settle and work in Canada.
