my wife planned to sponsored me to canada, but there something bother us,,i made a final exit in jeddah kingdom of saudi arabia,last march 28,2010..thus the canada immigration office still need a police clearance from the goverment of saudi arabia? if YES, how i can get, it almost one year now i´m here in my country Philippines? pleas help me..

If your application is being processed in Canada, you are not required to obtain a police certificate until the Case Processing Centre sends you a police certificate request letter. i have the same predicament, i am being required by the canadian embassy to get a police certificate in Saudi wherein i am already here in the Philippines.
The Ummwa-DFA only issues certificate of no derogatory record for 2 1/2 months while my deadline is only 2 months.No proof of filing nor official receipt.
I tried going to saudi embassy here in the Phils but cannot get inside since the guard will not let you in. according to them they are not processing such requests.this is the only lacking requirements and we need it very bad to comply with the Embassy. I hope somebody can assist us. thank you
