I am canadian PR and I live in canada , I am planning to travel india to get married in India next month, after marriage how to sponsor my wife to canada , how long it normally takes and what´s the procedure

you will marry, come back to Canada and begin sponsorship while your wife waits for approval in India. Process will take about 6-8 months.

India is one of the CIC offices processing fastest spousal sponsorship applications i.e within 3 months for most cases.

Stop thinking how long!
Start thinking what do I need to prove this relationship so she will not be interviewed and be in my arms ASAP.
Today I will meet with a potential client again who paid someone to assist them and they did a terrible job. So many answers on the forms were not answered properly or just left out information requested.
They got married at a certain temple with 50 people in attendance. All of her family and most of his all the way from Canada yet no details were presented. Plus numerous other mistakes and omissions.
This single ommissions probably caused an interview to be called.
At the interview since he did not want to tell her (his new bride) what happened in his previous marriage the Visa Post refused and now we appeal.
Also another client was interviewed yesterday (Family Day) and the designated Immigration Officer in New Delhi did not know that the applicant could not obtain PCC from UAE since he was not living their legally at the time he submitted his spousal application.
Now India is fast but you have to be approved first.
A spousal application is not something that should be rushed.
Others will tell you that you can do it yourself (DIY) which is true and when you screw it up make sure you retain someone who is able and willing to win your spousal appeal.
Is she not worth paying some one instead of Doing It Yourself and being penny wise and pound foolish? Getting through the appeal stages will probably take at least a year.
Go for it the way you think best.

Hii there I recently got married in india.i want to know from where to start got no clue what gonna be my first step can you please guide me through or whom should I contact first ? Do I really need an immigration lawyer ?
And how much time the whole process gonna take ? Any documents I be needing from india from her side before submitting the application ?
