Hello! I took my test on August 30,2010 and I still didn´t get any news from CIC about my Oath! I´m just wondering if anybody has the same situation as I am,or same time when they took their exam, Sudbury was the place I took my exam. Friend of mine in Toronto got his Oath invitation two weeks after the exam. And I am planning to leave Canada for a month,but I cant cause I got an expired PR,and Passport, PLEASE HELP! any info well do!!

It takes longer if you live from a major city.

After your test, you should get a mailed notice for oath in 2 weeks if you passed or a date for an interview by a Judge if you fail. I suggest you contact CIC. You cannot leave with an expired pr and passport.

I got the mail about the exam,sorry I forgot to mention, I passed the test. I called the CIC so many times already. Every time I call they have different answers. One time a guy told me it should be soon,Then I called again, this time she told me you must wait 8 months for an oath.My mom did her oath month later after the test two years ago. I know some guys from Toronto took their test, and two weeks later they got their mail for an oath.They took the exam November they got scheduled for oath in December.That´s a month only. Here I am going on my seventh. I don´t think it takes longer if you live in a major cities, if you check CIC website about their schedules for oath ceremony most of it are Major Cities. And I think their website is not updated regularly.

my wife received residency questionnaire because they did not want tocheck her time in canada . She spent 1096 days but we traveled a lot (cuba , etc). We do not have a still any info from them. Sai did you get update from them?
