Hi Ayesha,

You can remove his name from the application, but then you have to show your income is sufficient for # of people will be there in your family. check cic.gc.ca website for the required fund for # of people including your self for sponsorship application.

Best luck,
Nisha

Co-Signer (in reply to: co signer and parents)
Hi,

I would like to know if I join as a Co-signer in the middle of application. My sister in Canada applied for my family immigration of 3 member, she showed up her financial statements on initial application.I just came on my own to Canada in 2010.Immigration dept send her the notice to start the final assesment and she need to submit some more documents including her tax and salary slips. Now after 3 years she is having some $ 7000 shortage in the financial ability. Will I be able to put myself as a co-signer in her application so she will be able to show the required balance for finance as a sponcer for my rest of the family.

If my parents co-sign for my husband are responsable financial or if gets in trouble? They don´t feel comfortable co-signing but I financial don´t make enough!!!They need to to know what they are resposable for! So they can have peace of mind!
