Subject: Spouse Sponsorship Proof
I found out news that my file was sent back to me on feb.24/2011 from CPC MISSISAUGA. They sent me the file with a letter requesting a document. Anways, I was wondering if I can add more proof to my file, like a reciept for some money I sent my husband in January, and more phone call logs, and pictures.
I understand they must have looked through my whole file before sending it back to me. So are you aloud to make changes and add more stuff when its recieved back??
I am given a case number as well, and was wondering if when I send my file back, will I still have to wait a month, or will it process faster?

Also when do people normally recieve there file back when its sent back from cpc missisaugga? it was sent on feb.24 and its now march.8 and I still have not recieved it? Has anyone waited this long??

Thanks for any help.

Well she sure should retain your firm because you listen and take the time to know the issues they are facing yet do not answer the questions! LOL

Here is another example of a spousal sponsorship going wrong because of a (DIY) attitude. Go ahead do it yourself your partner is not worth the expense of getting it right the first time. Increaseing the odds of no interview so you can be together sooner than later. Decreasing the chances of a refusal after the interview so that you will not have to appeal and spend many more months apart is not worth the cost!

Hiring a quality, experienced representative who can prove by showing you what is required to convince Visa Post staff that your relationship is genuine and going to continue is one thing. Hiring another representative who has had only two clients infront of the Immigration and Refugee Board and not one Spousal Sponsorship application approved is another.

Read the manuals if you pay anyone to assist you with your application and that includes reviewing the forms you yourself completed you are required by Law to submit a Use of Representative form IMM 5476 with your application.

Just imagine you tell your partner that you paid some guy $50.00 to assist with your application and at the interview they ask your loved one (did you hire a representative to assist you with your application) and he/she says yes but there is no IMM 5476 on file - that is misrepresentation. Not only that, the representative reviewing the forms will be held accountable for all errors and ommissions.

I do not review someones work because I can not do the applicant or sponsor justice by reviewing something in 5 minutes so they can be Penny Wise but Pound Foolish!

Do not worry about the time it will take to process garbage stop and think about every single little thing so that the application itself is ten times better than what you submitted. Consider researching someone to represent you well because the time saved hiring a representative is priceless.

Take your time to hire quality. Get lots of references and speak to the references. Average cost between $1,500.00 and $3,000.00
