Subject: My 2.5 YEAR OLD SON TRV VISA REJECTED
Me and my wife both are Pr on canada. We came to canda in may 2006 and went back to india on nov26 2007 . After that my wife got pregnent and doctors advised her not to travel. I came back to canada in jan 2008. My son was born in aug 2008 and now in feb 18 my wife from india applied for trv for my son. They gave the quote that 179 ur trv is rejected because they belive that my son will not come back in sitpulated time. I want to ask that if both parents are pr , why the canadian embassy has put rejection on minor.
please help me

Count the days!

26th November 2007, 26th November 2008, 26th November 2009, 26th November 2010 and your wife is no longer (NOT) a Permanent Resident.

Your wife has not resided in Canada for 730 days in the last five years if you include up until February 18th 2011.

Compassion has to be common sense and you want compassion. So your wife could not travel due to a dangerous prenancy fine.... but the child was born in August of 2008 and you never sponsored your child. Why????

Now maybe you left out something in your post but I can see no other attitude then the Visa Officer was correct.

Even if they meet the minimum requirement (730 days) the kid still fits under the 179 regulation.

One of you have to go back to Canada and sponsor the kid as a PR then move back to Canada.

As per Roy comments, it looks like your wife is no longer a PR and you are just pushing the envelope.

I don´t know why people apply for PR when they don´t want to live in Canada?
Your best option is; pack up and go back to India and live there!

THANKS (in reply to: My 2.5 YEAR OLD SON TRV VISA REJECTED)
I know what u want to say but still none of you have given me a solid remedy. The CIC has told me that I CAN PUT UP A PETITION. Only after they give in writen that my wife PR HAS CANCELLED. so there is still hope. Now I need your valued suggestions what next , because i am pretty sure they even wont review the petition. I am positive they will not give in writing anything. Now what.

DO WHAT CIC HAS ASKED.

SPONSOR YOUR WIFE AND SON! USE COMMON SENSE.

Best luck,
Nisha

Sorry, Nisha is not giving you the right advise here.

Sponsor your wife? As far as the law goes she is still a PR, her status has not been revoked.

You still have to sponsor your son though.

Like I said count the days!

If she is still a valid PR get her over here ASAP and sponsor your child since your residing in Canada

Normal processing time from my experience for a dependent child 2 months by the Delhi Visa Post.
