Would getting accepted to an educational instituion make a compelling reason for an ARC under a Deportation order as a US citizen?

Time Frame makes a difference from the time you were ordered removed but are you sure you were given a deportation order????
If you overstayed and worked without authorization it is more than likely you received an exclusion order. Either way you will need a confirmation of departure form which you were given when you left. Look on it to see under which document type you were told to leave.

I was given an Exclusion for one year at the port of entry, however I made the dumbest mistake I could have ever made by returning a couple of hours later, at the same port of entry (unintionally). This is why I have a Deportation order.
