  To All

Prince Edward Island like all provinces wants the benefits of Immigration yet PEI is going about it all wrong.

PEI thinks that their PNP program is so great that Counsels are going to jump through hoops to be an Island Agent for PEI. That all authorized representatives are going to pay the PEI PNP $500.00 to apply to be an Island Agent.

PEI currently has a population of 141,551 and they are unlikely to get any assistance from any authorized representatives to assist them by sending our clients to PEI!

PEI just sent out a message as follows;
Immigration Services is seeking qualified parties to act as authorized Island Agents for the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PNP.)

Authorized Island Agents would primarily assist applicants under the business class category of the PNP. They will be expected to serve as a link between the immigrant and the Island business community along with providing support for successful integration.

Proponents must also show experience in working with business class immigration programs, must have an office and employees on Prince Edward Island and must be willing to post an indemnity bond of up to $1,000,000.

Any or all proposals may be rejected if deemed to be not in the best interest of the Province.

Proponents must be willing to post an indemnity bond of up to $1,000,000.

HOW MANY IMMIGRATION LAWYERS NOT FROM PEI ARE LOCATED ON PEI WITH STAFF AND AN OFFICE?
HOW MANY PEI LAW SOCIETY MEMBERS ARE THERE THAT WANT TO ASSIST WITH THEIR CLIENTS SETTLEMENT.
HOW MANY CSIC MEMBERS ARE LOCATED ON PEI THAT HAVE AN OFFICE WITH STAFF ON THE ISLAND?
HOW MUCH WILL SUPPORT FOR SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION COST THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES?

I think there are too many Newfoundlanders living in PEI these days.

Those are the only two place in this country that can come up with stuff like that.

Excellent question. (in reply to: PEI ridiculous PNP - Island Agent Proposal)

As one of only two CSIC members in the Province I would say you ask a valid question. I have an office and business on PEI and am the only company locally advertising to assist with spousal applications ect but even my business is shut out.

Fast forward Nov 2012 (in reply to: PEI ridiculous PNP - Island Agent Proposal)
Like everything else on PEI, it is a closed, albeit, a corrupt society. Fast forward to present day, Nov 2012, with continued inquiries into the pnp scandal, corruption and wrongdoing, you are beginning to see that those who have connections, freeze out everyone else.
PEI has always been corrupted and abused various subsidies, programs. etc. But, the pnp has involved about 1/4 of all businesses who became corrupt to rip off immigrants and abuse the program. Then, lawyers and consultants who had connections became middle men and took a huge slice of the pie. It is only beginning to show how corrupt the island way really is although anyone who has dared to live here from away have learned the hard way. No one from away can live on this island for more than 2 years or they will be scammed, harmed, abused, harassed or slandered off the island. No one can live on the island, very uncivilized and corrupt. High amt of inbreeders and totally corrupt ´professionals´.

They were handpicked by government (in reply to: PEI ridiculous PNP - Island Agent Proposal)
Fast forward June 2013, this was a program that basically sold passports to immigrants. They changed the rules and the Feds had to shut down the program. 1 intermediary firm just got caught transferring 10 million to an offshore account without paying over 3 million in taxes. An Islander wrote all about the theft of over 500 million that the politicians, lawyers, accountants, received and has disappeared to sell the passports. It was smart that you did not get involved. Everything, and I mean everything, is totally corrupt on PEI. Not an office, institution, professional is ethical. Stay away is the best advice anyone can give.

Corruption on PEI is out of control (in reply to: PEI ridiculous PNP - Island Agent Proposal)
There were only 7 intermediaries permitted on the island, 6 were from the island, all were involved in changing the rules so they could scam over $250,000 from each immigrant and sold them a passport. The money was divided up among an accountant, lawyers, politicians,-connections to politicians. There is over 500 million divided among politicians, political connected, lawyers, accountants, elite connections. Everyone else was frozen out. Over 1400 businesses got something like 35,000 to put an immigrant name on their board, but some companies were made up, some were non-profit, some did not even know they were on boards. It was the biggest corrupt scam, just robbery, that will go down in history. The money is in offshore accounts. Rumored that most of one group of money is in Caymans and Bermuda; some in Switzerland possibly. They basically stole money from immigrants and sold them a passport; there were problems with background checks, the gov´t officials were allegedly and there were complaints made by 3 people who were present of officials taking kickbacks to accept people who were not eligible. There were over 300 Syrians who bought passports but no real background check was done. The harper gov´t keeps preventing a real investigation because big supporters and well known Reform Conservatives are involved. Both the liberal and conservative parties are involved. Basically all of Charlottetown and some of Summerside professionals were all involved and the place is really so corrupt that all people in offices have turned corrupt, it is like a disease. Most of the professionals on PEI are involved and totally corrupt.
So, when it was initially questioned here back a few years ago, the reason was that it was a scam and PEI is hostile to all outsiders. No outsider (someone not born there ) is ever accepted and will have rights violated, be harassed, threatened, will be sleazed out of money somehow. It is as redneck as you can get, very corrupt, all relatives protecting relatives. If you go there, you will leave with less than you had, guaranteed. They are thieves, scoundrels, hoodlums and sleazebags. The latest is that the Human Rights commission was finally taken down as it was so corrupt. The Executive Director was so corrupt it was well discussed, known and talked about. But, some female who was severely abused and harassed then put her complaint into the HRC was then harassed and abused by the HRC mediator and proved that the whole HRC process was biased, unfair, violated her rights, abused and harassed her worse than those in her complaint- somehow, after a couple of years of her making complaints and showing the corruption, the Executive Director got caught doing something corrupt to hide her case- that is how bad the place is. Please tell immigrants not to go there. Anyone who is NOT a crook will stay away from PEI.
