New Regulatory Body for Consultants

Subject: New Regulatory Body for Consultants
Today the Minister of Immigration announced a new regulatory body for Immigration Consultants!!!!

Many will say great news! Some might wrongly say who cares!

Either way there must be some form of transitional period.

The new regulatory body has many consultants who were attacked for supporting the standing committee of Immigration position on the current situation.

Many consultants were afraid to say anything negative for far too long because CSIC amended the rules to discipline anyone who said anything negative about CSIC taking away their right of freedom of speech.

Only yesterday I received an e-mail from CSIC about all the discipline hearings they are now conducting. A few would say too little too late.

Let me say congratulations to those that fought the current situation and ended up being disciplined for telling the truth.

Maybe now the consumer will be truly protected and the government can find out what CSIC did with the nine
million a year they collected from me and others!

Great news indeed. Only bad news is the government should have protected the members dues by putting all dues and assets of CSIC and CMI under trust, can´t trust any of the directors to do the right thing after turning a blind eye to the much publicized questionable conduct of one of their own.

Your comment is so sad. So sad. Why Anonymous?

Some think the money was going out the back door all the time. They only have 38 employees and nine million per year. The government can´t take money that has already been spent.

You I believe are referring to the Chair of the Board of CSIC and the AEO scandal that was reported in the media. How it is alleged that he and others in the firm told people that they could have arranged employment offer with no chance of real employment and do not talk to the employer. They advertised those comments on the web. Real smart!

The Chair of CSIC has not been charged or convicted as of yet. It may look bad but are they waiting to lay charges until this announcement was made, who knows.

They are gone but your anonymous!!!!!

Really says something about the intimidation factor CSIC still has!

I for one have had sixteen complaints by CSIC themselves in six years and only one from a client.
