GOOD PM.. I WOULD LIKE TO ASK FOR AN OPINION..
MY HUSBAND APPLICATION SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP WAS APPROVED LAST FEBRUARY 4, 2011 THEN I RECEIVED THE LETTER FROM CANADIAN EMBASSY MANILA FEB 28, 2011.. SAME DAY I SENT THE NEEDED DOCUMENTS PLUS PASSPORT..
HOW LONG WILL IT BE PROCESSED??
AND IM CURIOUS WHY THE IMMIGRATION IN CANADA SENT MY HUSBAND A NOTICE TO PAY FOR MY PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE IF MY PAPERS HERE IN MANILA WAS NOT YET BEEN APPROVED AND I DONT HAVE YET MY VISA AND PASSPORT??

I have just completed a similar process with regards to the Canadian Embassy in Manila. Be prepared to be patient. It will take somewhere between eight months and a year depending on your case. One bit of advice, continue to follow up on your documents frequently. Sometimes they send out letters and, according to them, they do not reach their destination. As a result the Embassy is waiting for something you know nothing about. It is a very "IMPERFECT" system to put it politely. Truthfully it was a most unpleasant experience .

They ask to pay each time you get an answer, my husb also paid when Canada embassy gave the 1st answer, then the Quebec one, which had to pay also, after that our papers were sent to Lima - Peru coz i´m a bolivian. since September 20, 2010 they have our papers and we have no answer till now, we are just waiting they can ask me the passport or call me for an interview...
