Dear all:
I am moving from US to Canada. I´ve been in US for many years and haven´t been back home.
I want to invite my parents to visit me as a Canadian permanent resident, how much is the chance of them getting the visitor visa? Is there a time period that I must stay in Canada before I can invite them? Do I have to show any income? I have around $25K USD in my bank account, is this enough?

(in reply to: Inviting parents for a visit after landing) Chances are very low as you don´t live and work in Canada. Bank balance means nothings for visitor?s visa. Your job and your parents? background will count most. Since you have got the Canadian PR, I would advise you to visit your home country to see your parents. That would be easiest.
