Subject: Rejected because of Travel History and Other
  Hello
Last weak on Tuesday, My husband, and Egyptian citizen, applied for a TRV in hopes to come with me to Canada to visit my family then safely return back to Egypt. I am a Canadian Citizen, I have been so all my life, was born in Canada.
When we went to the Embassy to apply, I was told to go in to represent my husband. I handed them a completed application, stating funds would be $7000.00 for 6 month. The funds would be paid for, by his father and by my husband. We stated a specific time of leaving, and we had bought insurance to prove we will be covered while in Canada. Though the Insurance was dated on a different day of leaving, we had it and could adjust it.
We handed in an invitation letter that stated his mother in law, my mother, would pay for his food and give him a place to stay while in Canada. She would take care of everything for him.
We also gave two work letters to prove he would come back. We gave one work letter for my husband, saying his work will give him a leave of absence when the Canadian Embassy grants him the visa, for 6 months, then following his return he would have his job back. The same with me as well. I am an English Teacher and I had my boss write a letter to the Embassy stating the same thing to show we would both return.
We gave both statements for the bank. His fathers statement and his.

We were told when I had called that our application was on its way to be sent back to my husband.
The letter stated:
"In accordance with Section A11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA),any person wishing to become a temporary resident of Canada must satisfy an officer that he or she is not inadmissible to Canada and that the applicant will respect their conditions of admission and will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for his or her stay.

This application is closed. Please note that any new information you wish to provide must be submitted with a new application and processing fee. Should you wish to reapply, I would suggest that you do so only if your situation has changed substantively or you have significant new information to submit."

It says "You have not satisfied my that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:
Your travel history
Other reasons: No evidence of marriage or relationship

What does this mean? Did we do something wrong? Did we have too much money? Should we just reapply with everythign and just add a marriage certificate that´s it?
I´m a Canadian Citizen... he is my husband and we have been married for almost a year.
He has proof of coming back, written proof from work, and also his family is in poor health.
What is wrong?
Should we just apply for immigration then?
What did we do wrong?
Does this mean we have to change everything? If we apply again and get refused... if that bad? would we get refused a second time if we had new information?
And what new information do we need?

Please if you can help me to understand, the Embassy doesn´t quit help with this. I have to email and they never respond.
If you could help me by letting me know what should happen?.. why we are refused? that would be great.
Lot´s of thanks
Spritz

Saba Al Khair Ya Masar,
I think you forgot to provide them documented proof your relationship: Marriage certificate, place of marriage etc......
The officer thinks that if you guys are married, then why don´t you apply for Canadian PR.
The officer thinks that he might apply in-Canada PR after arriving here.
His only reason to come back to Egypt is ; job!!!!!!!!!! He should provide evidence that he has strong ties to back home, including job but not just the job.

I think you should apply for spouse sponsorship and then bring him here.

CIC is wondering why you are not sponsoring him rather than inviting him for a visit. I am wondering as well.

A visit makes little sense in this situation and the risk of him not returning home would be very high from an offical prospective.

I think that was only it.. I am looking for him to apply for a PR now.
We just wanted to visit and return that was our main goal.
We had his job and his family, his family is in poor health, and we recently found out that he has a credit card, that is all that he has.
I don´t want to go to Canada with out him, because of everything that´s happening here in Egypt, Plus we have only been married a year and barely had time to spend with each other.
In any way... I´m trying to realize what to do.
If I should just visit... what should be fixed and why did he get refused?
and to live...
Immigration I have no idea what to do
There is a skilled worker immigration but.. I took the test and he doesn´t fit under that category.
Can he apply for a PR here in Egypt?

You sponsor him as your spouse. Get the application from CIC website, pay the fee, send it for initial approval to CPC Mississauga office, if approved, they will send you a letter that his file has be transferred to CIC Cairo and then he has to submit an application with all required document, provide whatever is required, after medical and background check, if everything is clear, they will ask for his passport for visa.
It looks easy but it takes time and be careful about the information you and him will provide to CIC. Your provided information to CPC Mississauga and information he will provide to CIC Cairo office should be the same. So be careful and check and read 3/4 times the application before you mail.

Follow the instruction on the CIC website:

But I don´t have a job at the time
All I can do is sponsor him from here, with no job.. I can bring under his name $7000
and have him live with my mother and have her support him
does that seem reasonable?

You don´t need a job to sponsor him. As long as you´re not on social assistance (welfare) and not bankrupt, you can submit the sponsorship application.

I think it´s extremely unlikely he will be approved for a TRV since he has a Canadian spouse. I don´t think it matters what support documentation you provide. The result will very likely be a refusal if you try again.

ok but I understand that and we are both thinking for me to sponsor him.
But I do not have any money at this time. I do not have any money in savings or any money in my account. I left to be with him, but did not have any money left in my account.
I do not think I will be accepted to sponsor him because of this, you need money to sponsor in the first place, right?

You dont need money to sponsor him....just come back to canada get a job, so you can atleast put it down for your SPONSORSHIP EVALUATION. thats what I DID. or you could write a letter stating you are looking for one...there is no minimum income for sponsoring your husband.
Also the only money you need is to pay all the FEES with sponsoring your husband. cost bit over 1040
just sponsor him....its the only way
