Hi. This is our situation and appreciate any advise you can give us.
My husband and I sent our application arnd mid-Feb of this year and CIO received our papers a week after, then ran the payment a week after that, so that´s basically 2 weeks after application went out of our hands. At this point, we have not received anything yet on how the application is going. Our main concern is this: we are bound to go back home 1st week of May (my husband will finish his study program come early April) and wondering if sending an update of our new info without any file number is the right thing to do? We know we could have filed our application much earlier, collating/reviewing papers was just too tedious for us that we ended up submitting it just last Feb. With where we are staying now, we don´t feel comfortable expecting our relatives to facilitate passing the papers immediately to us that might come our way when we´re already gone back home. Whichever office (be our chosen VO or ???)is set to send papers back/advise us, we definitely need to respond immediately whatever the outcome is (we´re really hoping it´s positive). We want to maximize any efforts still left of our time here before we move out. Pls advise. Thank you.
