Very happy for you. There are a lot of things to do and see in the area. Mush slower pace if you can handle that.
Learn to sail the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair area it is a wonderful site to see the area from the water.

Remember Home is were you relax, welcome home.

Hi Roy,

I love it here. It is so nice and I am looking forward to the summer time.

Are currently living in Windsor?

Enrique: are you from Windsor?
If yes, then take a walk on the river front, drive along the Detroit river to explore Amhertsburg, Harrow, Leamington. There are lots in the South Western Ontario to explore!

Best way to kill cold winter in Windsor: go to the public library and read as much as you can in a quite atmosphere or go to Devonshire Mall or Tecumseh Mall and walk arround to meet different people.

I don´t know much about GTA. I think your best guide will be Roy...................

good for you! (in reply to: Life in Canada as a New Immigrant.)
It´s how you make the best of what you got. Wherever you go, there are good and bad sides and it´s nice to know one (at least) out of so many aspirants wanting to get an immigration visa made a right decsion for himself. I got relatives from Australia who moved to BC years back and heard no complaintsthough... More Power!

Hi (in reply to: Life in Canada as a New Immigrant.)
Wait til you get the canadian niceness: they are so stupid and redneck that they can not understand different accents. However, I am not going to break your bubble. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Vitorelli, how come you are still here? you were heading to the airport months ago to escape this horrible place called Canada. Obviously we are not that bad if you are still here.

Vitoreli

You need to learn when your GPS device says turn Right you actually have to turn right. Did not DocD offer to give you a ride to the airport?

If any change is good please leave so we can feel good.

When others feel good and state why, you have to try to rain on their parade! I feel real sorry for you!

I am empoverished (in reply to: Life in Canada as a New Immigrant.)
I have finally finished paying all the taxes the government keept sucking up from me. I have been trying to save money but it is very hard.
I want to leave this country with dignity, that´s why I payed all my taxes before my departure.
I am not part of the credit card culture, this is why takes me longer to get done with things. I will keep you posted when I finally leave.

Hi everybody,

I guess everybody has a different opinion about life in Canada. This is good as everybody is different but I have to tell you that life is whatever you wanted it to be so you decide to live a life of suffering and complaining or a life full of joy and abundance. It is all up to you. I can not change anybody´s mind the only thing that I can do is share my experiences and hope that it will inspire you to become more than what you are now. That will only be accomplished if we focus on what it is that we want to attain in this life. It is all up to you. If you think that you can not be rich, then it will never happen to you. If you think that you can be whatever you want to be and are willing to work hard and confront your biggest fear then you are a winner.

Enrique
