Hi,
I´m a Permanent Residence and holding Canadian refugee travel document. I had to applied this document couple of years ago because a reason to travel has occurred and, being a political dissident, my country´s consulate refused to issue me a passport. Few months back, there was a significant shift in politics and that government was replaced with a new one. Because of this change, I was no longer considered as a dissident and have been granted a passport. So, right now, I have a refugee document as well as a passport. So my question is, do I need to send this refugee document back to passport canada?Would it be against the law to use it when I travel to US? Because I heard US visa is really strict and I´m wondering if using Canadian document would raise my chance of getting visa. Thanks a bunch.
