Are you reading " The Secret" by any chance? You should move to Vancouver, Canada and live in downtown. It is full of people who think that The Secret is a reading masterpiece, yoguis and all those loners that are desperately seeking for spiritual help.
I must agree with the fact that every person has a different perspective. It is definitely easier to belive in those "magic recipes for life" than expressing the dark side of reality.
I think that if life was a matter of "believing in whatever you want and you can achieve it" , we would not have as many poor people in the world, wars and tragedy . Facts are facts and some factors we can control, some others we can not.
If I had the money to leave Canada and resettle in my country I would do it in no time. Unfortunately I have spent all my resources investing in my re-education, housing, etc, etc.
Maybe Canada works for you, and that´s great. However, I think that you are enjoying the high that all new comers experience. I truly hope that this lasts and works for you.
Best wishes

(in reply to: Life in Canada as a New Immigrant ( To Enrique)) sounds like you are admitting to being a loser!

Why are you so angry Sharon? (in reply to: Life in Canada as a New Immigrant ( To Enrique)) Not even Enrique shos as much anger as you do. I guess that you are a looser behind the screen.
