Subject: To Roy/ Please help
  Hi Roy,

The Immigration office at Abu-Dhabi sent a mail asking to refill my IMM 5549 form and also residency document. They also ask for my wife´s NSO certificate from the phillipines. They have given me 60 days to submit all documents. My problem is we still did not register the marriage at the Phillipine embassy in India as we did not know the procedures. So we will be registering now. It will take some time to get the NSO from the Phillipines. But we already have a legal marriage certificate from India.
Mean time could we submit the other documents and write them a letter stating our problem?

NSO Certificate is what?

Regardless of where you got married if the marriage was performed as per the Laws of the country where you got married (YOU´RE MARRIED)!

They say sixty days tell them you need a little more time to submit some stuff but if you have anything they requested submit it now with the request for additional time.

Hi Roy,

Thanks for your quick and prompt reply.NSO is National Statics Office in Phillipines. We need to get a certificate of marriage from this office also. I got married in India. My wife is a fillipino. We have been in relationship for more than 7 years now. We got married last year because we had to settle differences between our families. Still we cannot be together because of the Canadian rules and regulations.

Settle down

We had a Lady from Pakistan and a man from India as clients.

They met in Boston while attending University. When they finished University she became a Landed Immigrant of Canada and he went back to India.

They wanted to marry so we sent them to get married in Hong Kong almost half way for each.

They got married in Hong Kong and were approved. She never told her family because she was afraid they would kill her.

A marriage is a marriage no matter where it took place and you DO NOT have to record your marriage with any countries consulate/embassy.

All you need to prove is that the marriage done in Boo Ga Booga Land was genuine and legal.
