Hi,
Does anyone know how long police clearance certificates obtained from France and UAE are valid for?
Also, approximately how long it will take to obtain these if applying from outside France and within UAE.
I´m trying to figure out how far in advance would be best to apply for these.

From U.A.E it takes 3 to 5 days to get the police clearance and it is valid for 3 months.

It must be obtained no more than three months before you submit your application.
It should be good for one year.

Also if you have the U.A.E ID card they don´t require your finger prints. It is just a thumb impression.

Just to clarify on the French police clearance - if it is valid for one year, then why do you advise not obtaining it any more than 3 months before submitting my application?
Unfortunately I´ve called my nearest embassy and they´ve told me they have no idea how long it can take.

now im out of dubai. n i have very short time left to submit character certificate. Canada embassy require police character certificate from uae. im in trouble because i had car accident case in dubai n after they deported me,
n if i will not provide this certificate to canada embassy my case will be reject. can anyone help me or guide me ???

hi i really need some information how to get france police clearance from Canada. i don´t have any proof such as passport or visa. the only proof do i have is a reference letter from my employer that living in Saudi Arabia.
