I just applied for a work permit to Canada as a Live-In caregiver. Im currently here in London, Uk,so I filed my application while Im here. Now I am waiting for my notice to have my Medical examination. I am very worried because Im a a Hepa B carrier. I found out that I am positive w/ it when I was pregnant w/ my son on he year 2002. I had my son and my husband checked and fortunately they are not Hepa B positive. Has anybody tried applying for a work permit to Canada w/ same health situation as mine?Does it make you inadmissible to go to Canada?

Half full rather than half empty (in reply to: is hepa B inadmissible to canada?) Treat it as a way to cure your medical condition though it may delay the process time.
Here in Canada, many would-be immigrants receive medical surveillance letters because they a history of TB or syphilis, etc.
