CIC has for years given you notice that they are going to finally review your H&C application and normally give you thirty days to update your H&C submissions.
This Vancouver Office is lacking in compassion.
One client of my won a stay of removal because Vancouver had not reviewed or rendered a decison on one of my H&C clients. The Federal court Judge rules the family would face irreperable harm if removed based on medical reasons.
The very next day a Vancouver H&C CIC Officer rendered a decision that there was no Unusual, Undeserved or Disproportionate Hardship in this case based on my medical issues.
Now if I was anti CBSA I might think that the very second we asked for a deferral of removal that CBSA contacted Vancouver CIC and suggested that a negative H&C might prevent a Federal court challenge.
Now I know they have changed the long held procedure. Lucky for my clients they won by a few hours.
