Subject: posting docs to Canadian high commission in Delhi
HI anyone needed to COurier documents to the high commission in New Delhi. They have a complete address as well as a POBox number at the end. The courier companies say that they cannot deliver to PO Box as no one receives the package but it is droped. I was thinking of just leaving out the POBox and sending (as complete address is there). There should be some place where he can drop the package too right? any ideas?

THanks in advance
R

u shouldnt send ur passport through courier R!! its better to send it through speedpost, and then u can track it online. i have researched on it and its suitable to send it via speedpost as i would be delivered directly to the PO Box Office

HI aman,
thanks for the reply. My office actually uses Thomas cook as their Travel agent, and I asked them about how they sent passports for visas to CHC, they said via Blue dart. Called up the Blue dart guys and they said you can track that on line too. So if the address has both a PO Box and a complete address where will it go ? to the box or to the address? any idea?

regards
R

Dear Sir,

I had send an application for permanent residence to canadian high commission, New Delhi on 16.06.2005 at their address and has not mentioned P. O. Box No. as i had send by Registered A. D. I had not received acknowledgement receipt, but it was confirmed by post that it has been delivered.

I had received no correspondence from canadian high commission and also my demand drafts has not been cleared.

As i had not written P.O.Box No. is there any possibility of misplacing of the document in the department.

Awaiting for your reply.
