| Subject: where to live??? |

I am a joiner/carpenter wanting to move to work and live in canada. I know its a massive question but any help would be cool. I would like some advice on where exactly to go. Me and my wife really enjoyed a recent trip to new york so any similar destination maybe nice. we enjoy a good nightlife and good shopping. Also is there a big difference between carpentry in the uk to canada?
Any help would be fantastic

first, you must qualify to move here. start at www.cic.gc.ca
second, there is no place in Canada remotely similar to New York. Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver are the biggest cities with the most varied nightlife and shopping.
carpentry - can you flip between metric and imperial?
