| Subject: Wat are the timelines for spouse visa in New Delhi |
can anyone share their experience as regards the timelines fr the spouse sponsorship cases in new delhi? someone told me that they can finalize the case pretty quickly!! if anyone has gone thorough it, pls reply. thanx in advance

I am currently in the process. They seem to be really fast. After starting to process my application they send me a letter 2 days from there asking me to send my passport. THey do this so that there is no delay latter on. I did however do my medical 2months before we applied for PR. You started or going to start the process?

i am already in process rayden!! my sponsorship got approved on 19th January, 2005 and today i received a call frm the CHC, New Delhi asking me general stuff! they told me that they sent a letter of acknowledgement on the 3rd to me!! does it mean that i will be asked for my passport?? reply pls

That is funny u said that your sponsorship got approved yet you have not send the passport. In my case they asked me to send the passport. I have no clue about the approved part or not. I am planning on courier it on Monday. I had a question here, have u sent any docs to CHC New Delhi. THey have given an address which also has a POBox number. THe courier guys will have a prob delivering to POBox. I am thinking of just strinking out the POBox and sending, what do you think (the address is full and the one on the site, which does not have the POBox).

i think in the letter that i would recieve in maybe 3-4 days time, i will be requested fr the passport!! as far as sending the post by courier is concerned, i suggest that u send it via speedpost. i researched on it and found out that sending via speedpost is a better option becuz they deliver it right to the PO Box number. rest, as u wish mate. cheers
