I apply under H&C grounds in 2009 from then I have not heard any thing about my case. 2 months ago my Lawyer send some supported document to cic office but when I check the ecas online it does not say they recieve a letter. My question is does the ecas always tell you that they recieve any documents?

You can only check your application status online when it is only in PROCESS.
Receive, initial screening, acknowledge, assess, create a file, in process, forward it to a local office for further assessment.
Did you check your ecase during the year 2009?

yes I do and it still says in process
