My sister is a physiotherapist from Germany and currently lives in the UK. She would like to come to Canada as a skilled worker but physiotherapists from Germany are not recognized/ licensed to work in Canada as physiotherapist. Therefore, I have two questions now
She cannot apply for a physiotherapy job and all she can get is a position as a physiotherapy assistant. Would this be accepted by immigration Canada and will she get the points? As far as I have looked Physiotherapy assistant is not mentioned on the list.
Who do I contact to find her arranged employment? most employers that I have approached are not keen on doing this.

(in reply to: Arranged Employment for Skilled Workers) When she comes over for a visit have her write the National Exam and seek out an offer of employment. Most provincial PNP will accept anyone with an offer of employment.

dont come... (in reply to: Arranged Employment for Skilled Workers) As a white canadian who has been struggling since 2008 and has worked since age 15 and who is educated I suggest dont come. There is no work in canada now! The little work that is here is for our people. I am looking into taking a physio assisitant course because I cant find work in many lines of work in canada not even in food! let alone my skill job and I had to leave my city and move to a bigger centre and there is no work here either. Its very bad in canada now................
