my pr card is expirin in june and ive put in for a renewal. however i need to travel in september to nigeria. ive got a nigerian passport. will i be allowed to travel?
i know to get back into canada i would have to apply for a travel document to return< but im not sure if theyll let me out of the country? does anyone have any idea on this?

Yes - they will let you leave Canada. There is no passport control on the way out of Canada.

If you have a valid passport and the visas required for transit any countries on your way home(if that is the case)then the AIRLINE will let you board the plane without any issues.
