I applied for PRRA application last year 31st December,2011. With the latest new on CIC website that all existing H&C and PRRA have been transferred to Vancouver for further assessment. I called Vegreville to confirm this information from them, but they blatantly refuse to tell me the truth. I keep hearing different stories that they have it in GTEC,Vancouver and Dundas street. My H&c is in Vancouver, because i got a letter stating that they have it.Right now i don´t know if Vancouver office would share the information i sent for them as update in April?.I recently sent them the same package i sent to vancouver to dundas street, but due to Canada post; am not sure they´ll get it soon. This June is the sixth month, but i still have my application in process.I hope i can get any meaningful ideas and thoughtful information in this room. I tried to ask for Toronto local office fax number, but they keep telling me not to worry. Just kinda of scared because i have a strong case for my PRRA.

All PRRA and H&C now at BRO-V.
A decision will be made at this office.
The decision will be forwarded to GTEC where the applicants are to receive it and forwarded back or to the local office.
The second step of PR begins.
The same old juxtaposition of bureaucracy.
On my ignore list are R, D, S, etc. Thank you.

This is exactly what i´ve been saying, by sending my update to Vancouver. They the CIC agents keeps my file is at GTEC and not even Dundas street lolz. This is confusing and very unprofessional. What i do now is that, i keep sending my update to both offices to avoid any further problems. I know i have a good PRRA at hand and don´t want to mess or joke with it. I have all medical doctors reports of how my younger brother was killed through torture and hard beating in the prison before sending him to the hospital for treatment. He died during that process. I even have his death certificates and moreso, the pastor that get him to rest during his burial. None of my family were able to locate because they were all on the run and even up till now, no one knows their where about. So i have been updating my file to make sure i meet up to date. Thanks again for the information and more would be appreciated if possible..

You got called to a PRRA Pre Removal Risk Application interview and you were given instructions on where to mail your PRRA forms and PRRA submissions by a certain date and you don´t know which office you sent your PRRA application and which office has your PRRA application!
WHY NOT?
Maybe because December 2011 has not come yet.....
H&C is based on common sense of unusual, undeserved or disproportionate hardship.
PRRA is based on a risk to life of new (personal) evidence from the time you were ordered removed.
Niagara Falls, Etobicoke CIC etc are still doing PRRA reviews not all PRRA applications are in the BRO

Thanks for the response. I know where my PRRA was sent to. I filled in the application and sent it to Etobicoke office on Dundas street. I filled both separately, and i quiet understand the difference between H&C and PRRA. What i said in my question was that,CIC website indicate that all H&C and PRRA has been transferred to Vancouver. I sent most update to Vancouver since their website says so. Whenever i call the CIC office in Vegreville, all they tell me is that my PRRA is in Toronto and not Vancouver. So my question again is that, why would they say something else on their website and i don´t know where my PRRA application is;just the was you said not all PRRA was transferred.In a short form, i don´t know where my application is right now. Some of the cic agent even advice me to start sending my update to both office because they don´t know where my file is. I hope you understand my plight now Mr. Roy. Thanks for the explanation on both H&C and PRRA.

don´t call them, you don´t have to worry, they will send you letter about the out-come.

Thanks Patel for the positive and courageous comment u´ve contributed. I really don´t have control over my application till the result comes out. Just that i have vital and current update that i have been swinging up and down to Vancouver and Toronto CIC. I just simply ask them to tell me where the file is,because i notice that not every file was transferred.I will be going to Etobicoke CIC office soon to renew my social insurance number. I can ask them at the desk if possible. Thanks again for all the comment.......

You have control until a decision is made on your PRRA. You can keep submitting additional evidence for ever as long as the decision is not made.
Lets say something new comes up about your personal situation like someone verbally threatens to kill you because....... then someone sends you an affidavit of the comments and you send same to Etobicoke CIC.
You have control not a lot of control but a significant amount.

Hi All,
I am just updating you guys that all PRRA and H&C was forwarded to Vancouver for processing.I went to Etobicoke local office and they were unable to track down my file.They practically asked me to call the call center again on Tuesday. One gentle man really did a good job, telling me that my file was transferred to Vancouver.I was in the process of rounding up with the guy and i call came in. Guess who!!!. A lady from Immigration office in Vancouver. She called to in form me that they received my application seeking where my file is at the moment.She said my PPRA and H&C is with them at the moment and that no decision has been made on the PRRA.So i told her i just dropped some evidence off for them at Etobicoke office.She asked me if i could get a copy of that same documents. I said yes and she that she´ll gladly appreciate that.´´That no decision yet´´. She said she would send me a letter once Canada post resume back to work. I did not ask her,because i don´t want to give them any impression that i was desperate...lolz. I don´t know what letter she´s talking about. She said they make decision or transferred my file to any other local office for decision. Finger cross now. I think something is coming up fr me.She answered my question on the phone,having said they have my file. She said in a polite manner, ´´I´ll send you a letter right away once the postal service get back to work. Please keep praying for me guys. Am freaking scared now...........

keep checking the online status. Once they make decision, they update it as "a decision has been made and you will be contacted by local office"
