Subject: Is it Taking more time to finalise my process ?
Hello there Myself Subash from Nepal .We(me n my wife) have applied for PR in canada last year in march( 2010) from New Delhi Office . and at present my status shows following

We received your application for permanent residence on March 4, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 22, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on April 27, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Well My question regarding myapplication processing is
how long more ( in mths ) will it take to arrive medical form for me ?

Thanx in advance

I´m not sure about the difference between applying within canada and outside, but when I received the letter stating they have transferred my application to my local immigration office and they would contact me, I received another letter on a friday and tuesday following week got another letter requesting for passport and the next month got permanent resident card,I think just have to be patient probably month or 2.

From personal experience.

thanx nick for sharing your personal experience.
well Ive gone through CIC website regarding my application processing time .They have mentioned that it takes around 14 months for processing time through New Delhi CHC office . but as mine has already corssed above time period and medical form hasnot arrived yet( after medical..again it takes around 3 months to finalise if i fit in Medical).

3 mths back when i sent letter to New delhi office about this, then after they kept my status as "In process ".but since then nothing new things added in my online status.
one of my very close friend has applied 3 mths prior to me n he got PR 5 mths back n next mth he is flying .we both have qualification n work experience (infact he has applied as a single). dont know l0ng will it take for me :(

although it sounds as I am imptience, but Ive to prepare for many things in advance like exam dates/ university admission , settlement there etc..

and I heard from somewhere that donot ask CHC office repeatedly regarding delay in your process..thats why I am afraid to ask them this time.

I think Roy or sharoon or some expert or someone who has similar situation in past should come infront n clear my query!

Thanx in advance

total process is running ABOUT 14 months. don´t go by what is happening with other people.

Summer months take longer because commissioners are doing other things and there has been a mail strike for 1 month so no letters have been going out.
