Subject: Work Permit after graduation extension

Hello, I am an International Student, one year programm, graduated in Dec 2010. My work permit will expire on Jan 2012 and I got a job last March 2011.
I would like to apply for PR as Skilled worker.
1. How should I renew the work permit in the meantime the resolution for PR is given?
2. Should I extend this work permit and apply under Canadian Experience in March 2012?
3. Which is the best solution regarding to my status while I receive the results for PR.?
