This refer to your PPRA application and your application for permanent residence from within Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. We are in receipt of your letter requesting an update on your case. We have received the documents you submitted on xxxxx,2011 and xxxxxxx 2011.
Your applications are currently in process at the Vancouver Backlog Reduction Office in Vancouver. At this time we are unable to provide a specific time frame for processing--please note that processing may take twenty months. We may contact you for an interview or to seek additional information or clarification during processing of your application. Once is complete you will be notified of the decision by mail.
I got this mail as a result that i wasn´t too sure where my PRRA application is at the moment. The lady that sent me this mail called me on the phone during the Canada post office lock out. She promised to send me a letter right away once they start working.I was freaking scared when i got the letter and it took me up to two minutes to open up the mail...lolz. I don´t know why she sent me the letter because i was only trying to figure out where-about the file.
All the same i appreciate her response meaning that my PRRA application is no where decision at the moment.I hope this is a good sign from God. Her voice was so precious the last time she called.
Can anyone tell me if they´ve received such mail before prior to their decision on PRRA application.You can only e-mail them with update but there will be no acknowledge letter that they´ve received any update except an auto-response e-mail reply. God have mercy on my files and other people that have the same problem as mine.

Hi Anonymous 56.230.16. Seriously people come on this site for positive advice and to good courage. Why are you telling mt to add 20 more months after calling. If you don´t have any good reason to say something good, then i´ll suggest you keep your advice to yourself. Please am trying to be rude, but you taking peoples life and situation for granted.

Anonymous 206.79.202. I never interrupt them. Was it a bad idea for me never to seek for the actual that office have my application? I never did anything bad. I kept sending updates to Dundas street and my file has been forwarded to Vancouver in April. All what i sent to them was a waste,because i was told that nothing was forwarded to them.At the end of the day, this will be my own problem for not getting the facts. We all only have some accurate facts here but non of us is perfect. I got the information i needed and am okay with the situation.I did not asked for any computer information or whatsoever. All i did was just to make sure am on the right track. God is on my side. What will be will be. Please don´t take my lines as rude but just being honest to myself. I have once have this same issue and that was what lead to my refusal during my hearing period. Once bitten,twice shy.

Are you taking Yoga or living with a repressed postcolonial canadian? Or do you come from some other common-wealth country with a post-colonial mentality?
I never found your comments rude at all. I sense a lot of fear to express your feelings and thoughts the way they are. All you can do is wait and be patient, because you never know with CIC. If you get the right bureaucrat, good for you! If you don´t, then just be patient. There´s nothing that God can do for you in this case.
Nice and kind voices over the phone mean nothing. It is just your brain trying to see the light thru your desperation.
Hang in there and keep yourself busy as the worse is to come once the winter hits us again.
