| Subject: Im married to a Belguim man - please help |
I married a man from Belgium man here in Canada Things didn´t work out he went back in April now he is saying our marriage is not reconized in Belgium so he does not have to grant me a divorce is this true? If so how do i get a divorce cause according to vital statistics i am married

Should contact a community centre or a family lawyer or YWCA, etc.

Come on girl take a BIG cup of common sense! The Canadian divorce act states to be divorced the divorce must be submitted in the country where you normally reside.
aka Canada.
So send him the papers and if he refuses to sign proceed using common sense but proceed. Maybe you don´t know where he is currently living especially if he moved lately and you can´t locate him anymore. You can still get divorced and get on with your life.

I have no clue where he is currently living in Belguim but i do know i have to wait 1 yr before i can apply for a divorce i was just not sure how i was going to be able to if i cant get him papers and if he wont sign them.
