Can someone pls help me with this.
I got my renewed open permit April 2011.
My interview for PR is on August 2011
I totally forgot my SIN was expired since Jan 2011. (bec i waited for my open permit, i couldnt renew my SIN then).
Can i use my expired SIN on my interview for PR? (since they will change it there)
or
Do i really need a renewed SIN one?

Did you work between Jan and April 2011?
Employers must ensure that employees´ SINs beginning with a number “9” have not expired before hiring them.
Since Jan 2011, there may have been no record of you having paid tax.
Not sure what expired SIN might bring in the tax matter later in life.
