| Subject: New Language Requirements for PEI PNO |

To All
All applicants must have an IELTS score of at least 3.0, and include a recent IELTS test result with their application. Specific language requirements are
summarized below:
-Applicants with an IELTS score of 3.5 or above will qualify without a deposit.
-Applicants with an IELTS score of 3.0-3.5 must post a $20,000 language deposit and agree to either pre-arrival or post-arrival English training.
The $20,000 language deposit will be used to pay for an applicant´s English training in PEI. Should an applicant improve his/her English prior to arrival in PEI, he will be refunded the $20,000. Should he choose to take English classes upon arrival in PEI, the cost of his PEI Government-funded training will be deducted from his language deposit.
