hi , i have a complicated situation here and need help
i am a canadian citizen , lived in canada for 6 yrs before i got separated from my first husband back in 2009 , separation and divorce happened in lebanon i had my kids with me till 2010 but then he went back and took them from me claiming it will be a joint custody as with me summer vacation and with him school year , but this didnt happen , now i am back to canada for good and residing here again since may 2011 still not divorced yet here but i got remarried back home and expecting my new baby to be born soon in augst 12 ..i came back to canada first time in feb 2011 and have a lawyer now going thru custody and asking for all my rights and my kids rights to finish the case and get divorced here ,now that i came back for good i need my new husband with me i know i cant sponsor him till am officially divorced from my first husband , cant go back coz i want to stay here next to my kids but offcourse i want my new husband with me since i have no family memeber at all here and am fighting now alone to get my kids back and looking forward to sponsor my husband we have been married for one year and lived together for moe than 9 months , what are the chances that he might get refused his criminal history is clean and has nothing against his name back in lebanon , would it take long to get him here ? and what are the fastest way to do it , i cant alone with my 3 kids now i need him he is my only family member to be here with me now ... he is a skilled worker .he has his own business back home .

my kids are a 6 yrs old and a 4 yrs old boys .asking for family reunion with my husband .

I think you have a pretty big problem.
If you got re-married before you were officially divorced, then your new marriage is not going to be recognized by Canada as a valid marriage.
First you need to get divorced from your first husband. Then you have to marry your second husband. Then you can file a sponsorship application to sponsor your second husband.

surprised by this information , my family law lawyer said my marriage is valid , what if separation happened for one yr before i got remarried , like i did sign paper to get divorce from him but wasnt accepted by court here thats why i came back now to finish everything up and get my kids back and then apply for my new husband .... thanks for ur reply appreciated thats something to discuss with the immigration lawyer am in contact with now he never mentioned something like that to us before .
