HI,
I would like to know what are the Procedures at immigration in Toronto when I land there as it is my first time.
I just got my PR visa issued from Abu-Dhabi office.
Roy I just received the visa within six months as you said before. Thanks for all your advice and help.

make sure to bring UAE driving license. So You can get driving license easily and start driving Cab.

Basically you submit your COPR confirmation of Permanent Residency with the first CBSA Officer and they will send you and your dependents into what is known as secondary.
After a wait you will be called up and they will enter information into the computer and ask where do you want your PR card sent.

If you do not have a permanent address, tell then you´ll apply for PR card later on your own - once you´ve found a more permanent address.
A bag with all the necessary instructions for newly arrived immigrants will be given by CBSA officer.
