ACIA is an association for authorized advisers and the seminars would be above the average persons understanding due mostly to technical terms used.
If a new Lawyer or a fairly new Consultant gets a call from a potential client who is being sent to an admissibility hearing for a criminal conviction the representative can send in details and receive instructions.
He/She will be informed due to the length of the sentence and possible sentence the client will have a right of appeal.
*** What the procedure of an admissibility hearing is and that conceding the allegation is recommended.
*** How to actually concede and what exactly to say.
*** That the Immigration Division will file your clients appeal immediately and that the client can still travel even though they have been ordered deported.
*** Then ACIA will provide tips to get a stay of removal issued by the IAD.
*** When the stay of removal is offered by the Local Hearings Office and the IAD Office what takes place in Stay court.
Plus the same information would be available for Spousal Appeals, Residency Appeals, FSW Application questions etc. etc.
It means that counsels will be better and the consumer will be better protected.
