This is pavan. I moved to usa 5 years ago. I did my masters degree here in usa.I am presently working as communications engineer for one of the mobile companies here in usa.
am i qualified for permanent residency in canada. please dont give some website link to check for information. please tell the info in detail. thankyou

Hello Vitotelli,
I did my masters degree in usa among top 50 universities, is it not recognised in canada.
i am working presently in the usa for one of the top mobile companies as Engineer with annual salary of around $150,000
i like to do some business instead of some job, but here in usa, green card taking lot of time. so is there a way for me to get permanent residency in canada so that i can do some business in canada

I am sure your education is recognized in Canada. The bigger problem is that Canada is FULL of people with your education and expertise so without arranged employment (very tough to get) your application would not be accepted.
If you have a huge amount of cash stashed away somewhere you could consider a business investor application but those take a long time to complete.

Well if you are making that much money in the US, just be a little more patient. I am telling you that you may regret moving here. This country is a kind of boring and there is no much around for foreigners. I don´t care if Sharon or Roy call me negative, you will see it yourself and will remember my words. Honestly, stay in the US . It is more fun, more multicultural, cheaper to live and you already have a good paying job.
