Subject: I want to go back to my own country
Hi, I came here in Canada under the Live In Caregiver Program and I was released by my employer on the date of my arrival,I´m having a hard time looking for a job and its been almost 7 months that I´m unemployed, can I just ask the immigration to send me back to my own country? I know this sounds crazy, but I think this is what´s best for me. Thanks.

I totally agree with hola since I was an immigrant myself, however I chose to return to my home country and I am GLAD I did. What HOLA said is completely true since I experienced it by myself. For those who didn´t experience it, you´d close your eyes and choose not to admit it, as usual.
Statistics even says that almost 50% immigrants returned home within 3-5 years. Don´t you feel strange despite hundred of thousands of immigrants every year (almost 500k in person maybe), Canadian population only increased 1,7 millions since 2000 (31,5 mil in 2000 to 33,2 mil in 2008).

250K a year, not 500K.

in your 50% statistic, is also included those that arrive for 20 minutes and leave again hoping to play residency roulette.

How many immigrants abandon a genuine try at settlement - your stats do not answer that question.

Hola, there are 4 white people working at the gas station I was at yesterday.

There is a chinese guy that begs on the corner where I work. He feeds the pigeons and collects enough money to go home to china every year to visit his relatives.

Thanks for all your replies, I really appreciate it all, but is there any other way aside from asking the CIC for deportation for people like us who is having this kind of problem? Yep I really want to go back to my own country but not through deportation. I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks again.

Here´s hola - wah, wah wah! Stop eating those greasy tacos causing you to get fat, and start going to school. If you can´t make it then you don´t have the skills in demand.

Go to Metrotown food court and see around. You´ll realise that almost 100% of the food stall employees are all Asians. The racism is obvious, but as always they just deny it and try to show you insignificant and one-sided facts. Sharon, 250k is only the number of primary applicants, you haven´t counted the number of spouses and children, which I assume about double.

actually, no... the totally intake is 250,000 -300,000 - including families.

LOL, the Metrotown food court is all Asian because over half the population of that area is Asian. You might find some Philipino and Indian workers there too. Go look at the store staff... they are all Asian too.

Exactly my point, for example Edmond was the poorest area in Lower Mainland mainly because there is a large number of immigrant families there. A lot of (not all of course) immigrants have to fight everyday for their survival due to low income and ridiculously high living cost, that´s a straight fact no one can deny.
Anyhow, I´m out and seeing what is happening there now, I´m very fortunate. My Asian Vietnamese friend and his family are now still trying to survive there, 4 adults and 2 children in 1 cheap basement.
For all of you who want to immigrate to Canada, think again, open your eyes, and look for the facts. Otherwise you may waste your time and money, regret always comes late.
