Subject: Berg and Hola have more realistic point of views
I guess now I am not going to be the only "negative" person in this forum ( according to Sharon & Coy).
Hola and Berg are realistic of what the situations of immigrants is in this country. I came here to ruin my career and have no means to go back and establish myself in the old coutry.
As per the guy judging hola for eating tacos: I´d rather eat tacos, at least tacos are original from a country that has its own culture. What is your "canadian haute cuisine".... mmmm! let me guess! Fast food hamburguers and fries? or greasy poutine? Watch your own backyard before speaking. You canadians are arrogant and ignorant. Back up your arrogance with real facts.
Before you judge others realize that this place is made out of borrowings from many countries. The world really does not know much about Canada other than the government paid rosy propaganda to attract new victims into the system.

"I came here to ruin my career and have no means to go back and establish myself in the old coutry"

Well if your old country is so superior to Canada moving back and re-establishing one self would not be too hard right?

"You canadians are arrogant and ignorant" Well what does that make you?

"Before you judge others" Isnt that what you are doing?

I´m a successful immigrant and so are millions of other Canadians. You probably failed due to a poor attitude. And you probably blame everyone else for everything that has ever gone wrong in your life right?

I am glad to hear that you did well. However, it all depends from what perspective you see it or what "doing well means to you". If you did well, great. If you are another one living in denial: Shut up!
I guess that you did not like me calling you on your s..t! this is why you said that all had to do with " my attitude".
Maybe you could be a bit more creative to put me down.

"Maybe you could be a bit more creative to put me down." Sorry but I´m ot going to act like a moron.

Is this Denial?
I came to Canada in 2006 with nothing. I now own my own home ( no mortgage ) and make triple the income I did back home!

If you stopped crying about not having this or that or getting this or that you would probably find succsess!

Cowards affix blame!!

You came with nothing and you have your own home? (in reply to: Berg and Hola have more realistic point of views)
That sounds weird. Did you kill your wife and inhereted the house? Where do you live in the country?
Many born and raised canadians can not afford a home.. Your story sounds a bit unrealistic. However, I do believe that you make more money here than in your country. It all depends where you come from and what your income is in here.

If you spent half as much time persuing your future as you did writing hateful rhetoric in this forum, you might be successful like Pete.

Work hard, work hard? Do you still believe in that utopia of modern slavery?

slavery... or is it commerce. I willingly offer you access to my brains and my time for x hours a week and in trade you give me cash that I can spend any way I want.

How is that slavery? It is called bartering and free enterprise.

Sharon! (in reply to: Berg and Hola have more realistic point of views)
Modern slavery! I will barter with you giving you a "fair wage" but the prices I charge you for you for housing, education, transportation, food, government taxes are so high that your "fair wage" will not allow you to purchase all these goodies. I am not just judging Canadata in this regard! I am speaking of the world economy and brutal capitalism. I am not a communist whatsoever ( before you judge me that way). My point is that things the whole plane needs a revolution on how we are treated as working class individuals.

I guess I can not do much against an economic system put in place to enslave us.
Economic systems are proving themselves to be inefficient anyways. I hope that we as humans learn that greed will get us nowhere in the long haul.
