Subject: Entrepreneur - please need some help
I am thinking about immigration to Canada as an entrepreneur. I have 13 years of bussines experience - as a firm director and firm owner.

But I sold my share of the firm in 2007. Could this be a problem? Am I too late?

How is this 300 000 CAD? Does this mean, if I have a house, appartment,...which is worth so much, can I just prove that, or do have to sell them?

What about my partner? Does he get the same status with me? Does he have to work in this new bussines or can he work somewhere else and I can employ another Canadian person?

Do I understand this right: In 3 years you have to have this bussines operating at least 1 year or more? When do I get the PR?

Thank you very much for your help and advices.

the idea is that you are bringing $300,000 cash to Canada to start up a business.

you will be in violation of your agreement with the government of Canada and they will deport you.

You should probably do a bit more reading about the available programs before you apply.

Your first problem is that the Entrepreneur program is no longer accepting applications.

Your second problem is that business immigrants are expected to make an investment of $800K (not $300K).

And as Sharon said, if you bring the money here and then take it back - you´ll be in violation of the agreement.
