Subject: Question for Sharon. |
Do you know what is the best Institution in Vancouver that offers translating/intepreting programs and what is the job market like?

(in reply to: Question for Sharon.) Simon Fraser University would be my best suggestion. As for job market... I honestly could not give you any sort of answer that would be credible.

Thank you (in reply to: Question for Sharon.) Thank you. What about Vancouver Community College? Have you heard anything of it?

(in reply to: Question for Sharon.) See I told you that the posts about Roy´s privilege to advertise here would be deleted. They are gone now. Something fishy is going on here. Collution between some users and administrators. A net to lure and trap confused people/immigrant-to-be. Awesome!

(in reply to: Question for Sharon.) CANADIAN IMMIGRATION FORUM RULES AND GUIDELINES (OUTLINED)!
0. All topics to be in some way related to Canada´s Immigration.

(in reply to: Question for Sharon.) Yeah rite... of course Roy´s posts are always related, because that´s the nature of his business.... but wait... look at this:
13. IMPORTANT Do NOT post information about specific COMPANY, LAWYER, CONSULTANT OR SIMILAR. You may answer a question in general, but no names are allowed to be used. is better to use a lawyer for this and that, but specific names of law firms, immigration firms, people names should not be used. Such posts will be removed.
Whatever....you say...

(in reply to: Question for Sharon.) read it carefully - that is a third party rule and for liability purposes. A while back an immigration lawyer threatened to sue the owner of this site for allowing forum members to slander their business.
People do not realize that the owner of a website is responsible for its content - including things they do not write.

(in reply to: Question for Sharon.) How do you know that the owner of this site is threatened? Are you related to the owner?
Posts that are negative to Roy were deleted - mine included. Suspect this forum is somehow related to Roy... either he pay the owner a sum of money or.....

(in reply to: Question for Sharon.) I have spoken to the owner of this site several times over the 7-8 years I have been frequenting this forum. His email is listed on the website.
I am not related to the owner. Roy is not related to the owner, nor does he pay anything to the owner. The owner of this site is a good guy. Immigrant himself. He keeps this site open out of kindness - and be sure, he is not making any money at it. The ads barely pay the hosting costs.
Those of us who have been around a while will recall when the rule about 3rd party comments was established. Consultant/lawyer in Surrey had the same name as another consultant that was being bashed by forum members. She threatened to sue CanadaCity for defamation of character.
