Am 42 years old and have a post graduate diploma in Environment, can I join a Canadian University for higher studies? Will they take someone my age, who last attended college was 8 years back.
Higher studies route is the only possible route for Immigration for me.
I solicit your sincere advice.

(in reply to: Higher studies route to Immigration for a 42 yr ol) To be approved for a student visa, you must demonstrate that you have strong ties to your country and have no plans to remain in Canada after you have completed your studies. Immigration officials will probably suspect that you are interested in immigrating given your age and the gap in your studies. You can certainly try applying. However you should include a very strong statement of purpose which explains why you are pursuing these studies now and why you want to pursue them in Canada.
