i read from Roy´s discussions that it takes 13 YEARS to bring parents here?
Is this is true?
Will this be for me too that i sponored in 2010

It takes time, now even longer than ever been.
From twenty years now on.....
However, timeline differs from region to region. One visa office estimates 24 months to approve in principle and another 12 months to finalize.
Getting longer and longer, not any shorter.

First stage processing takes place at the Mississauga office and is standard across all regions. Current processing time is 48 months:

Second stage processing takes place at the local visa office. Processing times vary from office to office:

CIC has never understood what most Canadian´s consider as prompt processing even though it is an objective of the Immigration Act.
Certain provinces have a PNP process for family members that might be an option I do not recommend the H&C route now a days.

There were certain reasons why this Lady and her son picked that route and it is not suitable to the vast majority.
