Subject: Out of Country Physical Exam forms question |

I am hoping someone can answer this: I am in the process of helping my spouse immigrate from US into Canada. I understand there are different parts to it, and my understanding is that after Sponsorship matters are satisfied, the file goes to the US for further processing.
What I´d like to know: how long a wait can I expect before my spouse gets her physical exam forms? I was under the impression it was soon after Sponsorship was settled, I feel I am mistaken though.

(in reply to: Out of Country Physical Exam forms question) The medical has to be done at the time you submit your Spousal Sponsorship application.
Appendix C is found here on the last page. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3910e.pdf Just find an appropriate Designated Medical Practitioner in his area to do the medical. See bottom right side of www.cic.gc.ca

(in reply to: Out of Country Physical Exam forms question) What Roy said.
If you are sponsoring a spouse, you were supposed to complete the medical before submitting the application and should have included proof that the medical was completed as part of the appliction.
