Subject: Newly discovered inadmissibility
  Hello,
I need urgent help, advise if possible.
Recently, My passport was stamped with PR visa, and got COPR. I tried to land Canada under family sponsorship, but at the border I was refused to enter due to my recent criminal (dwi). Now, does anyone have experience ? But I do not know what will happen - will my visa be canceled or can they allow me to enter.
If my application was canceled, can I appeal this decision ?

Your visa is cancelled. You are no longer admissible into Canada.

What are you going to appeal?

I did not know that it will make me inadmissible. Only at the border, the officer told this is crime in Canada. This happended more recently, before issuing PR visa and COPR.

Driving while intoxicated or under influence or impaired is not taken lightly in Canada. Even an even doctor was refused over a mere DUI.

The visa office ought to have been informed when the applicant was charged with DUI probably in the U.S. The applicant could have been issued temporary resident permit to overcome inadmissibility and apply criminal rehabilitation or pardon while staying in Canada.

Shoulda duly inform them!

Applying for rehabilitation won´t work. To qualify for rehabilitation, at least 5 years must have passed since the completion of the criminal sentence.
